Consider Cutting the Meat Out

Don't cut meat out completely...

I think it's worth mentioning that if you're cutting out meat for environmental reasons, there are right ways to go about raising meat. The reason meat is harmful to the environment nowadays (in most cases) is that it is raised in an industrial fasion on a corn/grain diet. The diet makes the cows produce methane and the industry is energy/resource intensive.

But if cows and other livestock are raised sustainably (the best indicator for this is in the supermarket is "grass-fed" or "pasture-fed"), then they can actually make the state of the environment better than if they had not existed.
