While not the most commercially appealing of names, rubberwood, from the rubber tree, is a high quality timber product that can be sustainably harvested. Previously discarded or burned, the versatile wood is now becoming sought after by the furniture making and construction industry.

Use it All!!!
We do not need to discard tree 'parts' as waste. Technology is such that most everything can be used in some way. Even chippd and bonded to make plywood.
