Diane Ackerman wins 2008 Orion Book Award

The 2008 Orion Book Award , given annually by the Orion Magazine “to a book that has achieved excellence in addressing a growing ecological awareness and the need for a healthier relationship between humans and the natural world,” went to Diane Ackerman's The Zookeeper's Wife.
