This Earth Day, Make a Promise to the Planet at GreenPromise.com

Earth Day is coming and GreenPromise.com aims to spur global change through a new community feature on its Web site. My Green Promise lets users log promises to make sustainable lifestyle changes. As incentive, for each of the first 5,000 Green Promises made, GreenPromise.com will plant a tree. Green Promises are organized by category and include a description, obstacles faced, goal date and percent completion. Users can read and comment on Green Promises, send private messages to other users and update the status of their own Green Promises. Other features include receiving email reminders of promises made and a free monthly newsletter. Users 13 and older can create a free account.
