Debate: Modern homes have grown too large: from a sustainability aspect

This links to my debate submission in response to whether or not homes are becoming too large in America. I sought to put a sustainability spin on the issue by pointing out how modern americans are chasing wealth and luxury and losing perspective as they complicate their lives for status symbols. There are other entries too on the "no" side. Please send me criticism and tips.
