Happy Arbor Day!

Friday, April 25 was National Arbor Day. Since 1872, Americans have celebrated trees and their beauty and benefits. And communities are encouraged to plant and nurture trees on this day.I have included several photos of beautiful tree-lined streets. Trees are a great addition to a community. In fact, several communities have even earned the distinction of being Tree City, USA. Trees are the foundation of mini urban oases. Trees offer shade, cool respite and even reprieve from wind and rain.
