I think most people aren't aware of the environmental impact of raising a cow, or a pig or a chicken. Not only does it take excessive amounts of water and food, but animal waste especially from animal farms where animals are packed in next to each other, leaches into our water resources, pollutes drinking water and negatively affects wildlife. Take a day off a week and eat beans, veggies, fruits and grains. Just one day a week.
