"Floor It"

Look down. Go ahead, look. What do you see? Right now, we see ceramic tiles. You might see carpet, hardwood or laminates, or maybe you see tile as well. Flooring products have been a big selling point in the construction and real industry for years. Developers boast hardwood floors or marble floors when you purchase a luxury new construction residence. The problem with a lot of flooring, is that its made from resources that are not rapidly renewable, or finished with heavy amounts of dangerous chemicals, such as formaldehyde and others. These types of flooring, over time, can also release those harmful gases into the air, which means they are circulating around you right now. Now look up and find the nearest air conditioning duct. That means those gases are in every part of your house, because they have floated from their point of origination to just about every other point in your home. Ready to open the windows yet and let some fresh air in? We certainly think so....
