The world's first carbon trading market is in crisis, putting hundreds of jobs and the collapse of an entire industry at risk. The lack of clarity by both the Federal Government and the Labor Opposition on what their plans are for national action to cut greenhouse gas emission has led to the deterioration of the market price, evaporating energy saving company's cashflow. Companies that offer millions of homes across NSW CFL Globes and Water-saving Showerheads free of charge are on the verge of collapse and they are imploring the government to act now before it's too late.

Why a carbon market crises?
Why should everything that promotes savings and conservation, be paid for by the taxpayers? Where does this mentality, or lack of it, come from? Is the concept so weak that it can not stand alone? I was raised to be self sufficient. I was taught to pay my own way for everything in life. What is being taught in schools that brings this mentality to these times? It seems that an entire generation wants the Government to pay their way for everything. Why not spend the cash that you use to buy Sat dish or cable TV, sodas, Beer, cigarettes, ipods, MP3 music downloads, To say nothing of the latest new clothes and Video downloads, cell phones, any thing that is not a neccessity. Until an individual has worked to earn a living, earned enough cash to have, what was taught to me as 'Disposable Income', The light (CFL) and shower heads as well as low flow toilets, should be a neccessity paid for by the individual. Once society learns how to clean out the 'Treasury', society reverts back to a dictatorship. Some feel most comfortable with that. I for one, absolutely do not. http:daflikkers.blogspot.com/
