Major Ethanol Producers’ Organization Endorses Obama for President

I can well imagine that they

I can well imagine that they would enthusiasticaly endorse anyone that will promise to ensure their well being for the next years. Of course he will not accept Brazils offer to provide far more efficient 'cane' ethanol from becoming available to the USA. That is the path that is a 'no no' to any poitical figure. I would imagine any energy provider would approve of ethanol because of its negative effect on mileage figures for the vehicle that uses it in any proportion.

That amounts to an increased use of fossil fuels consumed in that cycle by itself. Now if the diesel powered tractors and all other equipment used in the processing of 'Corn' (Iowa Caucasus mean anything to anyone?) ethanol is taken into consideration and the amount of energy they, including the countless tankers to transport (ethanol does not 'pipeline') consume, the picture gets even blurrier.

Now the use of food product for fuel and the resultant rise in prices to the food consumer is entered into the equation, all of the agribusiness as well, should shout Hurrah for any prospective political leader that endorses it's proliferation. Not even mentioning 'Nitrous Oxide' production by the ethanol conversion, which opens up another big can of worms all by itself. Watch the 'Corn Futures' market if he is elected..No way to go but up and up. As an investor and speculator, I personaly love the concept. So sorry for you consumers. Maybe you should invest more?
