The U.S Department of Energy has chosen 20 universities teams all over the world to compete in the Solar Decathlon. The objective of the competition is to "design, build, and operate the most attractive, effective, and energy-efficient solar-powered house."
Among the contestants: Cornell, MIT, Duke,(check out the URL for complete list) and our very own University of Maryland is in the lead! Go Maryland!
