Oil Spill From Ship That Hit Bridge Closes Beaches, Surrounds Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge

Oil leaking from a cargo ship that struck the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge has spread throughout the bay and is threatening a majestic stretch of the California coastline, the Coast Guard said Thursday.
