Good ideas, but...
This is a good list of ways to reduce air conditioning bills and reduce energy usage, but it really left off the key method -- changing your temperature threshold. I don't live in a warm climate anymore, but when I used to live in Texas I always had to take a cardigan with me to work and often to other peoples' house because the thermostat was set for 68 or 70 during the summer. That's just too cold for lots of people anyway, and not necessary for comfort.
