To Cross the Moon (2XtM), biggest adventure across North Dakota since Lewis&Clarck

To Cross the Moon is an eco-friendly snowkiting expedition across North Dakota raisingawareness about the state’s enormous wind energy potential. Snowkiting, a fast-growingsport perfectly suited for North Dakota, uses a giant kite to pull someone on a snowboard orskis. While the expedition's fearless adventurers brave the elements attempting to snowkiteacross the entire state from the Canadian border to South Dakota; the 2XtM educationalcrew travels to communities across the state using the buzz generated by the expedition totalk about climate change and wind energy. Ironically enough, last year's expedition wascut short due to one of the warmest winters on record. This year's expedition promises tobe bigger, better and hopefully more winter-like.
