A friend invited me to join a site called GenGreen, which is basically a MySpace-esque site for the environmentally conscious. I was surprised to see some of the members who are using the site because I could never have guessed some of these people cared about the environment. What appears to make GenGreen different is that its focus is local and it has a somewhat separate section for each state in the U.S. You'll have to visit the site to see what I mean. It's a new-ish site, but their intentions are beyond anything I've seen. This is worth your attention!

GenGreen getting some Hugg love
I'm glad to see GenGreen is getting some love from the Hugg community. I like Hugg, but it's nice to be able to interact more with other users than simple contact form. I now Hugg is built on Drupal. Why not turn the profile module on already? An why have to Input Type on for comments? If you're going to filter out links, why not just combine the allowed tags and clean up the interface?
