My favourite Fair Trade find of 2007: This texturally exquisite cushion cover was created through Better World Arts Cross Cultural Projects. This particular cushion was designed by Brenda Williamson of Kaljiti Arts in the Anangu/Pitjantjatjara/Yankunytjatjara lands in central Australia and chain-stitched by skilled Kashmiri artisans with the highest quality Kashmiri wool. The Cross Cultural Projects is a Fair Trade initiative, providing substantial benefits to all the participants in the production process. The results truly have to be seen and touched to be believed.
