Now teenagers can spend their summer vacation growing organic fruits and vegetables, setting up a water harvesting systems, creating habitats for threatened species, brewing biodiesel, making and using compost, and living in structures that tread lightly on the earth's natural resources. Not only do they learn principles of environmental stewardship, but they also gain a deep awareness of our connection to the planet as well as methods and techniques to incorporate sustainable living at back home or at school.
