Protect Lake Superior from a Sulfide Mine
The country’s largest source of fresh water, Lake Superior, is at risk. A mining company has applied to place an acid-producing mine right underneath a key Lake Superior tributary. The proposed mining area is a key corridor for wildlife including moose and wolves and stands to pollute air, surface water and ground water.
Send a letter to tell the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality that these permit requests should be denied. Our fresh water is not worth the risk!
