Scientists in New Zealand are developing an innoculation against flatulance. The aim is to cut down on the massive amounts of methane gas that is produced by sheep and cows across New Zealand.

Eskimo Village Sues Over Greenhouse Gas
A tiny Eskimo village, Kivalina which is inhabited by the Inupiat Eskimo Tribe (a federally recognized Native American Tribe), is suing more then 20 oil, power and coal companies. They are claiming that the large amounts of greenhouse gasses they produce and their products produce have contributed to the earth's warming, which is in turn threatening the village's existence.
Desert solar panels: Where are the complications?
Proposals to utilize the deserts vast unused space for solar power stations is the project of the Trans-Mediterranean Renewable Energy Corporation. The project is said to bring life to an otherwise dead part of the planet as the panels themselves are raised from the ground. With sea water pumped and desalinated from the solar energy, crops could be grown in the shade under the panels, delivering food and water to the worlds poorest regions.
