Laboring full time at their urban homestead in Northwest Pasadena, the Dervaeses cook up their own biodiesel fuel in their garage, while outside, pygmy goats trim their lawn and provide fertilizer.

We (the team here at Change) get excited every time we see or hear about people making a change, so we are extremely excited about Evergreen Brick Works. This is a brilliant project by Evergreen, a Canadian registered national charity founded in 1991, and when fully completed it will be Canada’s first full fledged, large scale environmental discovery centre. To top it off, it all happens in an urban setting!

A slideshow update of a very successful Urban Garden Project in Winston-Salem, NC. The unused side lot of a 1950's Quanset Hut has been transformed into a high-yielding organic garden.
