It’s a long road to really creating an eco friendly world, but we are making positive steps forward. Very often these little steps are made by individuals, cities, and mayors that are not waiting on national legislature. There is allot of debate to why national governments are taking their time, one of which is the involvement and persuasion of the oil industry. Today, a very inspirational story came to my attention that has been going on for years that surrounds those big bad oil companies.

Governor Palin and Attorney General Gansler join victims of the Exxon Valdez oil spill  before oral arguments are scheduled to begin before the Supreme Court in the Fishermen and Native Subsistence lawsuit, Baker vs. Exxon. The suit, a class action composed of 32,677 commercial fishermen, related individuals and businesses, private landowners, Native Alaskans, municipalities, and other claimants from across the country affected by the spill.
