Britain wants to slow the large-scale adoption of biofuels, for fear that the food prices will increase greatly, and the environment will suffer an imbalance. Ruth Kelly, secretary of the Ministry of Transport in the UK said that the biofuels use means less carbon emissions, but there are a lot of questions about their use.
