Modtech announced that it now has the ability to offer the Iguana green classroom buildings via a district-approved cooperative purchase (â€piggybackâ€) agreement. The Iguana is based on standards from the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) and is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certifiable without site consideration.

Downsell Primary School Stars in Climate Calendar Photoshoot
On Thursday 19th July, 18 lucky pupils from Downsell Primary School in Leyton took part in a special photoshoot for the 2009 edition of the Calendar of Climate Change. Children from all racial backgrounds and a range of ages were selected to represent the world community and to convey the abstract concept of ‘contraction and convergence’ in a powerful, easy-to-understand image.
