With hybrids hogging all the limelight, the ultra-clean PZEV cars mandated by California law (and now an increasing number of states) have received no marketing budget, and look just like their conventional cousins. Yet they release between a half and a twelfth the exhaust of a typical vehicle. Some even make the air cleaner then before!
