One untapped renewable resource is wind power on the Great Lakes. A Canadian-government commissioned study in 2005 showed thatthere's enough wind on the Great Lakes to generate up to 47,000 megawatts of electricity. That's almost five times the capacity of Ontario's aging nuclear stations.
