Logan International Airport from Boston has saved approximately one tonne of carbon dioxide since it installed in March, 20 wind turbines on the roofs of its offices. Officials declare that the turbines are expected to generate 100,000 of kilowatts hour per year, or about 2% of the energy consumption of the building.

Massachusetts town could be first to build offshore wind farm in U.S.
The town of Hull, Mass., is aiming to build what would be the first offshore wind farm in the United States about a mile and a half off their coast.

Iberdrola needs to walk away from the Energy East acquisition
The courageous ruling by the PSC administrative law judge to reject approval of the Iberdrola acquisition of Energy East is getting intense criticism by all the usual suspects. On the face of all the hullaballoo coming from self-indulgent beholding politicians, covetous transnational corporations and their business interest crony groups, the public should savor the moment. Who protects the energy consumer and the hard-pressed taxpayer? Well, we have an answer and his name is Rafael Epstein!
Wind Power Blows into Peru and Brightens Future
Discusses the first community level wind power project in Peru. Small turbines are used to provide electricity to a town high in the Andes Mountains, where electricity was previously unavailable.
Aerospace throws in its hat to improve wind turbines
The French aerospace lab, ONERA, has released information regarding their ongoing studies on the blades of wind turbines, with the objective being to make more effective and bigger turbines possible. Their expertise with helicopter rotors and blades position them ideally to undertake a thorough analysis of air flow running over the turbines.
The Little E.P.A. Winnebago That Could … Thanks to Wind
A mobile EPA air-monitoring laboratory recently acquired a rooftop wind turbine, becoming, as its on-board scientist puts it, “The Wind in the Winnebago.” When conditions are right, the turbine can charge up the Winnebago’s on-board batteries enough to power the entire mobile lab for eight hours “without a single wisp of generator exhaust.”

Bahrain Build's Mega Wind Turbines
Bahrain builds world's largest building-integrated wind-turbines and they sure are gorgeous.
Going Green - Wind Power Capacity in the US Since 1999

Very cool graphical representation of the growth in installed wind power capacity in the United States since 1999. The image is animated & updates year-by-year. More green = better!
MoD Beaten by a Wind Turbine
A planning application for wind turbines in the Humber Gateway has recently been objected to by the Ministry of Defence because it may interfere with a radar installation!
Military Indecision and Renewable Energy: The Final Cost?
If the Ministry of Defence in the UK continue to play games with wind farm planners, UK renewable energy targets are going to be hard to achieve. Currently just 2% of the UK's electricity is sourced from renewable energy. It's time for answers, it's time for action.

"Common Sense Gone as we're "s-WIND-led" again!" by Mary Kay Barton
In reality, these scams were actually quite sophisticated. Most people were taken in by a series of very clever, well-planned tricks and stunts used by these medicine peddlers. The larger traveling shows employed advance men to work the area before they actually arrived in town. (Sound familiar?)

PSC Public Hearing on Iberdrola take over of Energy East February 21, 2008 Letter by James Hall
Iberdrola seeks to force this kind of marginal technology, at best, upon every hamlet and hillside in a reprehensible attempt to produce a superior stock holder return on equity. How does the NY consumer benefit from such a plot to defraud the ratepayer? The threats of eminent domain have been heard at every corner of our state.

Important Limitations of Electricity from Wind Energy
First, wind turbines have little or no “capacity valueâ€; i.e., they are unlikely to be producing electricity at the time of peak electricity demand.· Second, a kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electricity from a wind turbine has less value than a kWh of electricity from a reliable (“dispatchableâ€) generating unit

Who's behind it?
When you understand that wind energy does not work on a "utility-scale", the next questions are "Why are they doing it?" and ultimately "Who is behind it?" Simply put, it's a corporate tax-avoidance scam, put in place by investment banking lobbyists, energy industry lobbyists, and the late Ken Lay and his Enron Wind subsidiary.
