New survey finds US consumers rank last in environmentally friendly behavior

Project Bija is a new concept for seeding sustainability - we need your vote to make it a reality. Bija means seed and the project is about creating a website to map the layers of sustainable development at different scales to allow more joined up thinking between policymakers, private companies, non-profits and the public.  Wouldn't it be useful to know which other organisations were working in your locality?

The project has been submitted to the netsquared conference competition and needs your vote to get the chance of winning $100,000 funding to make the project a reality.

This conference (deemed an 'un-conference' by the founders) series promises follow ups on agreements made during the conference... very useful, if hard to effect, idea. The first in the series is this year on Energy, then next year on food.
