Greening the Next Generation
Two things make me despair - the unthinking consumerism of many young people, and the hempen earnestness of the green movement. But fortunately there are some people out there who are doing a pretty good job of communicating the green message to the iPod generation. Going Green Challenge worth 10K to a smart teen!

The new site from BKFK challenges teens to come up with ideas in many categories, share ideas with friends, and submit them to competitions. One category is "Change It" which is where kids can go to start ideas on how to change the world. The first competition is Going Green and launched October 1.

BKFK will award $10,000 to a teen/youth with great green ideas.
Blog entry about BKFK.com's new Going Green Challenge which ends December 31 and challenges teens and youth to develop, share, and submit green ideas for a chance at $10,000. The winner will also get a chance to have their voice heard on the 11th Hour Web site and Weather Channel.
