I just wannted to comment on this story, but there's no button to do it. I discovered a 'Johnson Controls A19AAT' which is a mechanical refrigerator override (no electronics = no batteries or AC phantom load). Set the dial, plug this in, and plug the refrigerator into it. No technical guru stuff.
