Conservationists and scientists scrambled Tuesday to determine what has killed at least 50 critically endangered crocodile-like reptiles in recent weeks in a river sanctuary in central India.

There are many amazing animals, some of which still remain uncovered. Amazing findings came up everyday. But here is a selection of the most amazing animal facts we found.

Florida Power & Light's (FPL's) Turkey Point nuclear power plant, thanks to its cooling system, has become the main breeding ground for the American crocodiles, which were on the brink of extinction 30 years ago. The plant's cooling system, consisting of over 100 km of canals, has created the ideal breeding environment for the animals.

This is a little unusual for post material on Celsias, but I thought noteworthy. Watch this awesome amateur clip, showing a complicated confrontation between lions, buffalo and an enormous crocodile. This is a true western showdown, and the best bit is the underdog wins (at least we think he does…).
